This school year 2023-2024 is very special for Shekinah School as we opened our FINAL CLASS for secondary level, our first promotion will take the National Exam to access the University!The dream to provide excellent education to our rural children is fulfilled from Nursery level to Secondary level !
15 years ago, the dream was too big and full of fear… The long journey was characterized by uncertainty, obstacles, failures, frustration, sacrifice, enthusiasm, hope, joy and passion ! This passion was so great that it kept producing enough energy, enough resilience, enough patience, enough creativity. That passion kept telling us that the dream we are living in side will soon be seen by all on the outside! It was like a light that ever went out, a faith capable of going beyond the limits!Then here we are TODAY
As said the Kirundi Proverb
“Buke buke nirwo rugendo” “Step by step we will get there”
and quoting also the bible in Philippians 1: 6
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to the completion until the day of Christ Jesus”
What an amazing journey!
We can’t wait to see the first promotion of Shekinah School taking their first steps into the University amphitheaters!
