There is pretty solid evidence that children who are hungry are not able to focus. The Shekinah school feeding program aims at improving the health of the students, thus improving academic results.

In line with our mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle, agriculture and farming; Shekinah School has established a school garden that encourages parents, students and the community to work together to ensure the success of these projects and the student’s education, at the same time allowing us to improve nutrition and highlight healthy food, as the school’s garden harvests are used to provide school meals.

The “chain of Solidarity” gives support to the school community by creating a space where local disadvantaged children and youth can develop their abilities, knowledge and understanding so that they are able to recognize and fulfill their potential.

School Chain of solidarity – Goats Farming project – is ensuring that youngsters stay in school, improving families’ livelihood. It is also uniting a group of people with a common purpose.

By providing an excellent education, promoting agriculture and farming projects, Shekinah has become an agent of transformation through community development. Young and old, we are all learning to stretch the potential laid within us by God. To be as creative as possible to fully live for him

A water Drilling System has been the best solution to overcome this challenge.

The Solar Water Pumping System is a practical and affordable solution used to provide reliable water supplies.

By providing Shekinah School with the safe drinking water, the incidence of diarrheal illness is reduced. The installation of a school tap improves also the sanitation facilities and hygiene education that encourages the development of healthy behaviors.

A public tap has been installed for the community around Shekinah Center as water is a critical resource for human life.

There is increasing evidence that ensuring rural women’s economic empowerment in a developing country could have a great impact including poverty reduction, increased food production and decreased child malnutrition.

By providing Health Care and Counseling about Family Planning, Hygiene, Nutrition, and Parenting Counseling, Shekinah Community families lives have been much improved.
